The real test, IMO, will be what happens when/if Arrieta can't turn it around and he has to be moved out of the rotation (either sent to Norfolk or the bullpen) - who will take his place? Personally I'd like to see Steve Johnson and Chris Tillman get their opportunities to see what they could do.

Sure, there's Zach Britton once he's deemed 'ready' but we'll need 5 starters in the rotation come the middle of June. I'd prefer that Tommy Hunter not be given a position simply because he was already in the rotation - we'll see how he does tomorrow.

The other question, once we get to this point, is what the O's do once we get closer to the trade deadline? Trade for pitching, trade for a corner infielder?

Personally, I don't see us winning in the playoffs if we don't have three solid starters (consistently) and an offense that has fits and bursts of swinging at everything and not working the pitch count.
