Yeah I really want to see this. Isaac and Chastain are so good. Can't wait to see them together.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

A Most Violent Year was very slow. Good performances but not much happens and the moral issues could have been more explosive.

I liked it a lot but do agree it was pretty slow. Something holding it back from being great but I'd still recommend it.

Did this deserve it's own thread? Very mediocre movie IMO. A sequel could take things to next level but why not just start there to begin with?

I fell asleep....just missed the real point of the film honestly. Slow and I didn't find Isaacs perfoemace all that great either.

I think it was from Grantland. Best Peformance Pacino never had in the 80's
