I had a CT scan today.  I'm sure I'm okay, just confirming.  But, anyway, new doctor and new hospital.  They gave me a login where I can check the results.  They pulled CT scans from 7 years ago from a completely different hospital and system.  Like, it was just there.  Had no idea they could do that kind of stuff.

I, too, welcome our new computer overlords.

Our first Baltimore Metro Business Development (BMBD) networking event since Feb. 20 is tonight.
Going to be great to have people in-person (we will be outside) vs. staring at our monitors.

Good for you.

Round 2 was last year and kicked my butt.

Had my 2nd dose Friday. Knocked the f out yesterday. Worst I've felt in over 15 years.

Still an antirant as I'm thankful they were able to develop a vax.

I'd be lying if I said I was looking forward to subsequent boosters.

Officially out of the "3 under 2" club as of today.

My son turned 2...we didn't lose one of them or anything like that. In case that was unclear.

Stoner how's the new house?

Moved in last Monday (6/7) .... was a long process!

We had been conditionally approved throughout... had our initial deposit down etc.... but we didn't get formally approved until Thursday 6/3, and we settled 6/4.  So, that part was not fun.

Last week was spent getting our condo ready for Russ, who moved in today!

Today was the first day I've been able to catch my breath a bit, and start to unpack.

Glad to be in...  now it will be addressing a room at a time...

Congrats!

I'm a big fan of the secondary color on the kitchen island cabinets in general, and that blue in particular.  Ties in the exterior door and shutters as well.  Looks like you need a bigger fridge!  Lot of light in the photo of what maybe is the basement, is it a walkout or just lots of windows?

Thx!

Fridge on backorder...so gave us small temp.

Basement does have a walkout and three sets of windows.

Settled on appliances, paint colors, and flooring for the new place today.

I guess throwing a rant in here too: it is really hard to find wood flooring places, even engineered wood (which is what I settled on).  Is vinyl really making that much of a comeback?  No offense to anyone that chose that, it just feels very 70s and tacky to me.

I'm no big fan of vinyl, but it's gotten remarkably good... far better than I ever would have expected.

I built 2 houses myself, and they included various features that made me proud... but the best thing I did was put down plain ole #2 pine T&G flooring... and coated it with tung oil... gorgeous.... (not sure you can still get tung oil, due to some sort of fed concern about it...)

God bless people who make “how to” YouTube videos for any old thing. It can be something so random, and someone has most likely taken a cell phone video of how to do it and shared with the world so that when one other person needs that specific thing, it’s right there.

The A/C button in my wifes car broke. So to get cold air, she would have to hold down the button the whole time. I’m thinking a mechanic would have to open up the dashboard or something. $200 in labor to fix a 10 cent part. Go to YouTube. Someone shows how to replace the A/C button in her exact car year, make, model, in under 5 minutes.

Thank you, person who thought that totally random fix was necessary to put on the internet.

Man I fixed my dryer, cleared out some black mold and got some kick-ass choco-peanut butter brittle in ONE DAY, thanks to Youtube University yesterday.

I find it so hard to believe they can grille watermelon out on the grill. My brain cant process that.

Much like baked Alaskan, and how you can put ice cream in the oven and it wont melt. lol
