We're at full strength now with Dez getting some minutes vs Oakland, so things are looking up. How does everyone like our chances tonight?

They have missed out on recruits and just aren't as talented as they normally are...plus, one of their better players is hurt(not sure of Dawson is playing tonight though).
Might be MD best chance to win a game at Mich St for the next several years.

Dawson looks like he will play, but minutes might be limited.
Michigan State has looked vulnerable in previous years, and rebounded as seasons have progressed under Izzo. Would not be surprised if that happens again this year.
You know the Spartans pride themselves on their rebounding.... will be interested to see that battle.
Getting the road win would be big. Losing would not be terrible (as long as they play well).
I'm glad that MD has already had a road game (OKST) vs. a major conference opponent.

Did they move the start time of this game up. Could have swore it was a 9pm game at one point.
Anyway, this is our first true road test. OSU is ok and all but Mich St is a different beast even though they are unranked. First B10 game too. It'll be interesting to see how the kids respond tonight.

Michigan State just lost to Texas Southern... do expect them to be better and more physical vs. OKST... but having played in a road environment was good. Frankly the game vs. Iowa State was more road vs. neutral as well.

And I looked at my phone a couple days ago and swear it said 4 pm. Weird.

Just realized why I saw this- the google on my iPhone still thinks I'm in the central time zone.

Michigan State lost to Texas Southern (3-9). Let's win this game.

Yeah, this is a game you should win. But it is MSU and it is the Izzone... while we should win, it's also a huge confidence building win for this young team.

Let's not get all carried away over MSU losing to Texas Southern. They were without Dawson that game, who may be back today. And lest we forget, the Terps damn near lost to Monmouth at home in their first game without their best player. This is a tough game, on the road, vs a team that while made up differently is every bit as talented as MD.

I'm expecting a close game, and if I was betting would lean to the Spartans.
Hopefully MD comes and hits a few quick shots, and immediately feels comfortable.

I've watched MSU a few times this year and they have not looked sharp at all.
It's an intimidating name and place, but like Beaver Stadium and The Big House, the personnel playing matter a ton more.
MD should win this game and it would be disappointing if they didn't. They are ranked 12th.

If you're betting on MSU you either think they are severely underrated, or MD is severely overrated.

MD is certainly capable of winning... but I'm not ready to buy that MD should be favored in East Lansing.
I don't think MD is severely overrated. The ranking is deserved. Don't think MSU is severely underrated. Their non-ranking is deserved.
Just doubt there is a tremendous difference between the teams in overall talent, always tough playing on the road, and things MSU should be good at play to the weaknesses of MD.
Hopefully the Terps bomb some 3's, and roll.
Remembered the Vasquez / Jordan Williams loss today and cringed.
