Looked at the second half and September/October records of the last ten teams to make a 162-game World Series to see how it stacks up to the Orioles and also looked how their second half/September compares to everyone else in the playoffs

Really well done Rose. Hard to get too excited looking at that data.....lol. But its the playoffs.......anything.......lol

I imagine that being a 91-win team overall likely similarly places them near the bottom of lists of World Series participants.

Full season record correlates the highest with postseason record, though it's still not a strong correlation.

Get hot and win games is the only key. Whether you were great, good or average at any point or at all points during the season doesn't matter any more.

Yeah their overall record is better than 2023 Rangers/D-Backs, 2022 Phillies, and 2021 Braves and the 2018 Dodgers were 91-71 before the NLW tiebreaker so somewhat middle of the pack there
