Looks like the Tigers are now going with an opener, Tyler Holton.

LOL the cameraman zoomed in too far. No challenge though. So nice play!

First pitch swinging and Slater grounds out to the wrong side of the IF.

Situational ABs man.

CB Bucknor is one of the worst umpires of all time. That first strike called was just horrible.

Of course, Taterz got the sweetest revenge.

2-0 O's.

Hyde continues to baffle. Sure, Detroit started a LHP who was likely to go 2 innings max. As we can see he lasted 1. I see no reason to start Slater or even Mayo. Now you're likely to sub them fairly early on for a LHB and lose them for later in the game.

Maybe Slater had to start because of Mullins being banged up yesterday, though.

They haven't said either way (I mean these Apple TV announcers are not good at. stringing. words. together. to. form. coherent. thoughts). But yeah, that's my guess re: Mullins.

I think he wants to rest Mullins after yesterday

Mayo has been very shaky defensively. I can't think of a single reason to put that guy at 1st in such a critical game.

By the way, that pitch that Bucknor called a strike on Santander was nose level.

He's so damn bad at his job.

They can only score if they hit HR. Gotta hope they get a power surge going headed into October.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?
