I want to do either Dallas or Tampa. If Tampa happens to fall in December that will probably sway my decision. Did a Dallas stadium tour years back during a work trip. Place was definitely BIG.

I have done Tampa and Dallas in the past.  Big fan of Tampa.  We stayed in Clearwater Beach for a week, and went to a Thursday night game.  The people in Tampa were great.  There was a very large Raven contingent.

The Cowboy stadium is terrific.  I have been to a football game and Wrestling Mania there.  Getting into the stadium was an issue for both events.

We will be going to Tampa.

Whatever Haloti Ngata's rookie year was when the Ravens shut them out week 1 was the TB game I went to. Mons Venus is walking distance, and the rest is kind of a blur.

There is another "establishment" across the main highway from Mons Venus -- my buddy and I ran back and forth across the highway to see which bouncer would let us in for the lowest -- we were shrewd negotiators -- I think.

Given my proximity, I might have to try to do the Chiefs game. My oldest son will be 4. I was 4 when I went to my first O's game and remember it very vividly. If it's in a nice weather month he may enjoy it and remember it. This is at least the spin I'll have put on to convince my wife anyway.

We are doing New Orleans for our 10th anniversary this November though, so other road trips, probably out of the question. We may also come back to Baltimore over Christmas this year. Maybe we get a home game that week.

New Orleans is great all the way around.  I have been to 2 games there and it was a good experience.  The Super Dome is a little past its prime but still worth the visit.

New Orleans was fun. Bourbon Street was overrated, though.

There's a decent chance the Ravens might be on the Thursday night opener in KC.  Ravens, Bengals, and Texans are the best non-division matchups on the Chiefs schedule next season and it would be a rematch of the conference championship.

Good. Get the Thursday night match up out of the way early. I hate those games.

I enjoy any primetime game, but definitely agree about the benefits of Week 1 TNF over any other week when you are on short rest.  Especially if it's going to be a road game.

I'd be pumped for a season opener.  Hopefully would go better than the last time the Ravens got that game.

The Denver disaster in 2013 if I'm not mistaken.

Isn't that the game where Flacco threw the ball over 60 times?

Yup. We actually had a halftime lead looking back.

Also think we lost Suggs for the year in that game.

O's game on September 8th just moved to Noon. Ravens getting the Sunday night game?

Can't think of any other reason why the Orioles would move a game up this far out unless there is a big concert announcement coming out.

If the Ravens are hosting the Sunday night game, good chance it will be a division game.  Their non-division schedule features only Buffalo and Philly as somewhat attractive marquee first Sunday games.  Philly is playing in Brazil that Friday so it eliminates them.  Buffalo would be a good attraction, Josh Allen vs. Lamar Jackson.  Other than that it's Denver, Las Vegas, or Washington and none of those are opening SNF attractions.  My money is on Cincinnati if the SNF thing is true.

Could it not be a straight 4:15-4:30 game time for Ravens. Doesnt have to be the SNF game.
