With the minor league season nearing the halfway point, here is a look at the top 15 prospects in the Baltimore Orioles’ farm system.

Thinking the four Top 100 picks the O's have in the Draft will all be in the O's Top 12 or so prospects by year end.

System badly in need of an influx of talent.

Lee's strikeout numbers are simply astonishing.

Any disagreement with this list?

Nothing major but I can't have D.J. Stewart in my top 10. He was bad last yea in Aberdeen. An advanced college bat like himself should have started in Frederick.  He's at Delmarva and still not hitting.  He's all bat too. He offers little else. I'm not ready to declare him a bust but he certainly wouldn't be in my top 10.

My top ten is pretty much the same but I have Ofelky Peralta and Bryan Gonzalez in it and David Hess not. Hess sounds like a future reliever. Peralta has as much upside as any starting prospect not named Harvey.  Gonzalez is a back end starter like Hess but he has the secondaries to stick at starter.

I'm no minors expert but DJ Stewart isn't in my top 10, either.  Yaz is older, has never been sexy prospect due to...well, whatever, take your pick of reasons.  But at least Yaz looks like he has a shot at making the bigs at some point.  Can't say the same about Stewart, although it's too early to tell.  If the dude was raking, it'd be a different story.

Sucks that Fenter had TJ surgery.

They really liked that kid and he had a lot of upside.

Hopefully he can get back from that and still have the big arm.

Thoughts on where Sedlock, Akin, and Dietz should fall on this list?

Just a guess with very limited info, but Sedlock in the 4-7 range. Others 12-15.

I think you could argue for Sedlock being 2nd.  Want to hear more about what his upside is.

I'm thinking 9-12 for the others.

You can't put him two.

Depends what you think Sedlock's ceiling is as compared to Harvey.

Age is comparable, and Harvey hasn't pitched in a year and half.
