I'm visiting for a couple days for work and to survey DFW and was wondering if any board members are in the area. I'm staying in Arlington and I want to check out the ballpark at Arlington if anyone is interested.

Lance Rinker is in the DFW area. Send him a message or tweet.

So, took a tour of the Ballpark at Arlington this morning. Oh, wait, newsflash- it's now called Globe Life Ballpark. Really? Ugh....Pretty cool, though, lots of pics I will hopefully post when I get back home. Trying to do so from my phone is a chore. And tomorrow I'll swing by the Cowboys AT&T Stadium for a tour there. Didn't have time today, had to take care of biz.

So, I want to thank Lance for his suggestions on Deep Ellum in Dallas. I had a great last night there listening to some local musicians and taking in the local scene. Be sure to checkout Reno's Chop House and Adair's if you are in the area. The Free Man had some good food and is located next door to Adair's.

The VIP Tour at Cowboys Stadium, now called AT&T Stadium, was impressive. Two and a half hours, jammed packed full of information and worth every penny. The Pro Shop is a problem. I'm a baseball guy but it's hard not to be impressed with the marketing that the NFL and Jerry Jones does with his product.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area has a lot to offer and for me personally the problem in CA is mainly cost of living. It's difficult because my entire family is here, but Texas solves many of the problems that comes along with cost of living and owning a home in particular.

Any other impressions of the area or other areas of Texas(perhaps the Hill Country) from people on the board would be appreciated.
