Heard there was a 3rd explosion so far. Guessing they have NO IDEA how wide ranging this threat is.
It's things like this that bring up the connundrum, if agencies have knowledge of threats like this and don't share with the public to try to contain panic, can it put more people in danger because those people might not have run or been there in a crowd to be hurt? I mean I completely understand why they do it, and it comes out later EVERY time that there was some sort of prior knowledge. I always kinda ponder where the line is on telling people or not telling people...it'll be interesting when info starts trickling out later.
My understanding is that the 3rd explosion was a police controlled explosion. Which is good, I guess, but why on earth would the police need to do that? I guess I'm missing something, because I don't see the point.
In any event, I too fear they aren't entirely sure of the rest of the threat.
