Funny, I had intended to write this same piece today, but came across this link on Testudo Times this morning.

I think it is very possible. I agree with Mid-Atlantic Bias that as the Terps improve, you could see Stoglin's scoring regress some - but only so much. Stoglin has exceptional quicks, but he has limitations which will prevent him from leaving early. He can't change his height, he has minimal hops, and he is obviously more of a scorer than a distributor. Those are all reasons to believe he finishes out his eligibility in a MD uniform.

Interesting. I haven't even thought of that as a possibility. In order for Stoglin to do it, he is going to have to play post season basketball. I think they are going to the NIT this year, so that will be a couple more games added to this years total. I think there is a strong possibility they make the NCAAs his junior and senior year. It would all depend on how far they go.

It is nice to have a guy that can score like he can on the team for all 4 years. The Terps could be back in the national spotlight as early as next year.

Unfortunately I am hearing his college career is likely over after this year. I know it is probably not a good decision but he thinks he is ready to go pro.

He and Turg's rocky relationship probably doesn't help. I won't pretend that the loss of Stoglin wouldn't hurt MD but he's a pretty selfish basketball players that doesn;t really make his teammates around him better players. MD would be fine moving forward without Stoglin.
