Like several of their picks this Draft, Williams posted more walks (50) than strikeouts (40) this season in college. It's a clear profile the Orioles are targeting in bulk, not just in this Draft, but especially in this Draft.

Interesting. High for a senior, but he really produced this year. FanGraphs had him #23 in the post draft update, ahead of Haskin.

Others have mentioned this, but the seniors in this draft have more leverage than in past drafts as they can all return to school and play another year because NCAA gave everyone a freebie during the 2020 season due to Covid. That year didn't count against eligibility for anyone.
