BSL: How much will each network be hurt by this fall's college football postponements?

Cliff's notes....

-NBC actually might be *better* off (they've also added USF-ND on USA in September since I wrote the post)

-CBS is largely unaffected, but they'll be losing some evening inventory on CBS SN without the Mountain West

-ESPN loses a bunch of quantity, but still has quality with the SEC and ACC

-Fox loses quantity and quality, and is going to have to sell the Big 12 *hard* this year

 

If the Big Ten does make something happen for the fall, this whole article gets flipped a bit on its head.

My father isnt in the best of health, lives to watch college football games the entire day. With cable TV, 3 Tivos and he types every game he can and then watches them. Going to be a long winter for him. I dont blame the teams for canceling, just another sad result of this damn COVID bug.
