My current seasonal drink of choice is homemade egg nog.

Enjoyed this, thanks Vincent.

A good stout on a cold winter day can be great. The ones you mentioned I'll check out.

One local stout I like is Heavy Seas Peg Leg

Another stout I like and have gotten as a Christmas gift previously was Terrapin Beer Company's Moo-Hoo

Definitely the season for stouts. I've had all of the ones you listed except for Saugatuck, which sounds good. I'll have to keep an eye out for that one. Really enjoyed all of them, but I probably lean toward the Founders Breakfast Stout if I had to pick one.

I find myself drinking more Belgian beers this time of year too. Anything Trappist, dubbels, tripels, strong dark ales.

I'll be honest, I've never had a homemade eggnog. I've never even had egg nog. I have to try that one day. Mad Elf is good, I really have to push to find more belgians that I like.

I’m still trying to kill a sixtel of Oktoberfest. But I enjoy some Chimmay during December.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Belgian beers are my favorite. I don’t know what it is about them and German beers but they usually really agree with me.

I don’t like stouts or porters at all.

It’s funny to me how so many beers out there just taste awful to me (IPAs, stouts and porters). Would figure if you are a beer drinker that all of it would “agree with you”.

Try and put one or two away for next Christmas it's a great beer to age.

Brooklyn's chocolate stout is the best, and best priced imperial you'll find around. It's release is limited these days so go grab em!

Someone left a Flying Dog Mint Chocolate Stout at my house after a Christmas party so I tried one last night...poured it down the drain upon tasting it.

Never had Henessy before. Went to NYC and my buddy who lives there and works at restaurant brought home a bottle of Henessy Paradis from a Kanye party. I had a drink. It’s amazing but for $800 it better be.
