A lot of good posters above.  Wish they were regulars here, they'd add to discussions.

I'll give a vote to Nickle (who had 20k+ posts), when his posts sticked to sports and he wasn't just looking to troll. I appreciated that he had the ability to jump into a lot of different threads. I appreciated his part in building up this board.  That said, too many threads became pissing matches, and I don't miss that.

He is. He also consults with an MLB team.

Tucker Blair is with the Diamondbacks.   Greg Goldstein with the Brewers.

Dan Bryden and Chris Worthington are missed in the Ravens section.

1970, Stotle, MattP, RZNJ, VaTech would be great to have back in the O's section.

I sort of remember Shack, CA-Oriole, and Sammy leaving in a huff, but what ever happened to Markus and Oriole85?  They posted all the time, and then just stopped.  I used to make fun of the overwrought goodbye posts that seemed to happen weekly at OH, but now I kind of miss them.  I need closure, dammit!

There are guys you wish posted more but most of those guys never posted that much to begin with so whatever.

Branden is the only one (at times) that I would say I wish was back who was a prolific poster...Maybe CAOriole as well. Similar to Branden...just depends on the day with him.

Otherwise, who cares?  Some of those prolific posters had the worst takes on things.  They only added to discussion because they typed up a post, not because it was valuable.

Shack was arguing with all of the new posters last year. He's not banned.
CA-Oriole I think checks in, but asked me to change his PW so he could not post anymore.
Sammy... he's a great guy. I'm sorry he's not here.

Markus.... think he just found better things to do.
Oriole85....  see him on Facebook, but think he got tired of arguing with people here. He was prolific.

Lot of good names on there, hope they return.  Are all of them gone in some sort of remarked upon way or just a long stretch of inactivity?

At the risk of leaving quality people out, the people I find myself thinking that I miss having around here the most for their opinions on various things are Nickle, Matt_P, and 1970.  I barely even recall him posting here, but VaTech and I were kindred spirits back in the OH days and I wish he were around as well.

Know most of them to be insightful.   Sometimes see their thoughts on Facebook or Twitter.
Board is for discussion.  Would be better with their thoughts....   but to your point, message boards aren't for everyone.

I miss Nickle & Shack quite a bit.

Oriole85 took a lot of crap and just got tired of it. He's a good kid, I'm a fan of his.

Stotle (Nick) is a great twitter follow if you're a big time baseball dork like me. Another talented guy.

There are few self-imposed bans. Some that will never come back for whatever reasons.  (99% me being an asshole.)

Most are just inactive.

Those that I think are most realistic to join us again at some point...

Yeah, I mostly miss Nickle and Shack.  Matt P and Sammy, too.  CA-Oriole seemed to get angrier in the last year or two, so for his sake, it's probably good he stepped away, although I miss him.  It would be great if VaTech came back, but he's another one who maybe needed to step away for his own good, same for Lucky Jim.

He's an analytical guy. Intelligent. Enjoyed his opinions.

VaTech and Lucky Jim as regulars would be awesome.

Moose is a cool guy. He's never really been a regular here.  He'll be gone for a long stretch, check in.... be very active, and then bounce.

Funny, intelligent.  Would be cool if he was a regular.
