Host the Browns? Depends on who the 6 and 7 seeds are. If Houston and Pittsburgh are the 6 and 7 seeds, then yes. If Buffalo loses and still gets in as 7, then no.
Win SB? If anyone except SF is the NFC champ, yes. I don't like a rematch with SF. The 49ers won a lot of the statistical battles when they played. Yes, some of it was catch up mode. But it was the 5 turnovers with short fields that killed them that night. If they clean that up, it's a much tougher game.

And I respect Purdy who is operating at a high level in that Shanahan offense.
But it's all about finding his weapons and them getting yac. No threat of beating you repeatedly over the top.
The Ravens have the defense to run with their weapons, and the ability to limit their yac.
Certainly wouldn't again expect 5 turnovers.

Its a lose and go home tournament so who knows. We all dont know the matchups. Some are easier routes that others. Not saying that to be a smartass its just the truth. IMO the worst draw would be having to face Mia and KC in back to back rounds. I know people only want to remember the Miami drubbing but I think a 2nd matchup in such short order wouldnt be easy. Especially if they get some key guys back on offense.

Also we will see how the weather cooperates. Could be another huge factor in 2 weeks. As the best team lets hope for good conditions. Not too cold and no precip

Weather pattern is an active one for January. The jet stream is dictating that storms will ride up the east coast. Whether they hit on weekends or not is the question. Seems like weekend rain has been the normal since the end of the summer. Not really super cold air in here at them moment, but it is going to be mid January when these games are played and that is typically the coldest part of the year for this region. So a bad weather game is possible, just have to wait and see.

Going to host Flacco and the Browns?
Going to win their 3rd Super Bowl title?
Just saw today that if Flacco manages to take the Browns all the way to a Super Bowl win, he'd move into a tie for third place all-time for postseason QB wins with 14. He'd join such elite company as Peyton Manning, John Elway, Steve Young and Terry Bradshaw.

Looking like we'll be playing the Browns.
I'm nervous regardless of who we play. We have not fared well at home in the postseason.

3-4 at home all time. 11-8 on the road. I don't really see what 2003 has to do with this year's team, it's even a far different team that 2018-19, so I don't really care about the history.
We will play the lowest seed that wins. I don't see Pittsburgh winning, but I can see Miami winning. I'd say probably a tossup between the Browns, Texans, Dolphins.

Yeah I forget about that playoff game more than any other. Remembr just being happy to get there. Pretty magical run once Lamar took over that season to make it but never felt like we had a chance to make a real run. Which funny enough 2003 felt the same way and that was also a home game. We had no chance to make a run with Anthony Wright or rookie Lamar.

The history is what it is but as you said, the history of home playoff games is mostly irrelevant. The 2006 and 2019 teams should've won but 2003 and 2018 were kind of "just happy to be there" teams and a playoff win would've been gravy.
Either way, trends and history are talking points for TV, podcasts and articles but they have no bearing on the 2023 Ravens. Health and the matchups are what matter.

In a perfect setting I could see Miami giving KC trouble. But to do that on Saturday Miami is going to have to exorcise some weather demons. 3-5" of snow is expected in KC on Friday. The high temperature in KC on Saturday is supposed to be 13 degrees. Game time temps will probably be single digits. I just can't see Miami going into that environment and pulling off the upset.

I didn't know that, with that weather I will be shocked if Miami wins. Losing the #2 seed was a huge deal for them.
