Following a narrow defeat in their first conference road game of the season, Maryland returns home to face a reeling Michigan State team. The Spartans have lost two straight in blowout fashion to Washington and Minnesota, and were booed off the field in East Lansing yesterday afternoon. The Golden Gophers dominated the game, owning 70% of the game's possession. Mel Tucker's defense has struggled to stop much of anything, and their offense hasn't identified any playmakers whatsoever as of yet.
Maryland has a lot to build on from a hard-fought game on the road against #4 Michigan, and they ought to have more than enough confidence to take care of business in this game. But if issues of the past start creeping back in, it's a game the Spartans could absolutely steal.
