No dont have to have it. You dont even have to win 2 of the 4 since we do have 6 left after today. Obviously losing 3 of the 4 hurts a lot though.

O’s Twitter says game 2 will start at approximately 5:05.

Agreed Bob, I think they’ll answer the call tonight.

Dont jump off the bridge if we do lose. This team will battle back. They will remain in the mix down the stretch

I just mean as far as staying in the thick of it. This season is already a win no matter what but I'm greedy now that we're here.

You know me. That’s like asking Deshaun Watson not to insist on a happy ending.

On paper the next two are the ones to get. Berrios has struggled all year and of late.  I just want to see a clean game. All the way around

I hope game 1 MVP Manny Gonzales isn’t behind the plate.

Do have to at a minimum split this 4 game set. Those chances are a lot better if you win this game.

Since this was a makeup game the rest of the series will have an entirely different crew, based on what I heard on the broadcast of the first game.

Was afraid Lyles wouldn't be able to go. Now gives even more credence to not using the best bullpen pieces in game one.

How many pitches do y'all think Akin is good for (assuming he's pitching well)?  28 pitches through 2 innings with a 20 to 8 strike to ball ratio is pretty decent.

Don't think he's topped 40 pitches since June and he pitched 2 innings on Saturday. 3rd inning is probably his last.

If he pitches well he can get into the 5th. We need to find a way to put up a lot of runs in this one. Toronto's bullpen is a mess too.

Nice job opening from Akin in an emergency role.
