Seems right. Interesting to see how much more they save on their remaining selections from the first 10 rounds. Expect them to throw the extra savings at Martin, Showalter, and the kid from Miami. Try to get at least 1 of them. Maybe 2.

MLB.com is reporting Fabian only got $647k.  Slot sounds more realistic to me.  I'll update the OP when I'm a bit more confident in the numbers.

EDIT: $647k for Fabian is still showing on the tracker but I'm gonna update this with the reported slot bonus.

EDIT:  Tracker finally updated to reflect $1.03M for Fabian.

Callis also said Fabian signed for slot so seems legit. Who knows what the tracker is doing.

Ruiz, Roch, and the tracker all say Wagner signed for 1.9M.

ETA: Ruiz also tweeted that the day 1 picks were $733,900 under slot, which would be consistent with Fabian signing for slot (Holiday -656,900, Beavers -115,100, Wagner +38,100).

Tonight's broadcast, Ben said they've signed the majority of their draft picks.

I fully expect them to sign all of their picks.

I don't know if they have some macro strategy where you sign certain guys first to limit the ask based on available pool, but the 6-10 guys should be well under slot.

They don't really seem to have any reaches that cost you something.  Not sure why Showalter would be some crazy ask.  You can give any of these guys 125k without hitting the Pool.  Maybe Walters is 500k, that's cool, like the pick.

Feels like they could have taken a higher ranked HSer to try and bribe away.  Seems like they are going to  leave more money than usual on the table.

With McLean left to go they are currently $735k under pace and would still have the entire $847k overage amount available to spend without any real penalty.

McLean isn't a significant overslot guy, but even if they give him $1M for some reason that still leaves them with $1.3M in wiggle room to get all the 11-20 round guys signed.  Not much excuse to not get somebody done, unless they're just helbent on returning to college (or going, in the case of our only other HS draftee Showalter).

Agreed. I would expect them to get everyone signed.

I don't have a problem with the guys they drafted 6-10 and I don't care that they went (basically) slot across there, but those are unranked college guys so it feels a little like they were just burning pool across those rounds.

17th round pick Carter Young going to LSU. I think they’ll sign the rest, he was always a long shot.

Why did Preston Johnson sign for 75K over .?

College senior. Where else can he go .?

Agree with the confusion over many of the bonuses for the back half.

Although everyone has more leverage than standard due to covid eligibility. Pretty sure everybody got a free year, so a college senior can return to school (or no-sit transfer to another one) and re-enter the draft next year.

Showalter signed for $440k per Callis.

I feel like there’s going to be a lot of money left.
