This guy could move fast if he handles AA like he did A+ ball. Big if of course.

Im curious if this promotion means Ortiz will have extended run in Baltimore. They could make it work otherwise in AAA. They can move some of these guy around the field so Joey could be back in AAA but Im hoping he stays up. We have to consider that Mayo also cant be far behind Prieto.

Hope so. They created a nasty logjam when they signed Frazier. He hasn't been terrible here, but Ortiz, Westburg, Norby, all waiting in the wings to get some MLB time. Frazier is gone next year so clearing out the logjam in a big trade seems like a solution til next season when all of a sudden you are down to one of those guys left and Frazier is gone, so now you have zero depth.

I mean maybe the farm system just isn’t that good, outside of the top 10 guys we’ve had the last few years.

I think it is ripe with hitters but I think the depth on pitching is not all that good.

Ripe with hitters they think would cause the big league team not to win if they were here instead of trying to set minor league PA records.

A bunch of top 50-100 in MLB guys who have no position and can't be expected to manage a .600 OPS, apparently. Maybe Lewin Diaz and Daz Cameron will be next to hold down the fort.
