Maybe semantics, but Scott is more of a wing than a big. Definitely need more help inside, I think Revaz is more of a walk-on quality than anyone we want in the actual rotation.
Need help everywhere, really. Only 4 guys on the roster are people you are confident playing significant minutes right now. Maybe Cornish, Martinez, or Batchelor can become guys you're ok with being in the rotation or even starting, but can't really go into the season with any confidence that they're more than fringe contributors. If they are in you top-6 or top-7 then you have some big roster risks. Martinez you at least know can defend and is crazy athletic, but he was a total liability on the offensive end. The Cornish and Batchelor are unproven freshman of modest rank. Cornish was much higher in the recruiting rankings, but being redshirted casts some doubt on those.

Sure he is body type / skill, but based on the existing roster he's the starting 4.

Good stuff Pat. Willard and the asst.coaches seem to be working very hard to catch up.
I would like to see another guard and big to add to Young and Batchelor.
Any word whether Ayala is even considering taking advantage of the extra year?

Wow, that is thin. Dzuiba maybe has a chance to help. Revaz has played less than 10 minutes played in 2 years, I am surprised he is still in the program.
Willard is working hard, but next year may be a building block year.

Ayala will either be playing in the NBA or overseas next season. No consideration of returning.

Thanks Zack. I was hoping for one of those Iowa or Wisconsin type situations. 11 years of eligibility.

Would assume Carey will make the same announcement soon.

That is real good news. I am waiting for Carey to do the same.
