DFA'd to make room on the 40 man roster for catcher Luis Torrens.

Good I never want to see him in an O's uniform again.

You're rough. He wasn't that bad. He's a run of the mill average relief pitcher.

Seems pretty heavy for a guy with a 4 ERA over 2 years.

Here's my thing...everyone has assumed we've accomplished something in terms of pitching devlopment and we have some success....but where is that success sustained?

We DFA here.  People are talking about sending down Perez and Voth.  Kremer has struggled.  Irvin has been worse. Bradish has been warm/cold.

We've seen bumps in performance but nothing on the offense or pitching side that really suggests we have something unlocked.

Yup and I don't want to see that on this team. Not accepting run of the mill for any player. We have the core and the money to be able to do better than that.

I thought for the most part Joey K, was pretty good last year.  He got hurt then got worn down toward the end of the year, but did his job most of the season.

Every team has average players and with the Orioles and their dollar store budget, you may need to get used to it.

May be some recency bias on my part. I just cringed every time he came out to the mound the later part of the season.

No doubt that is correct. Also no doubt I won't accept that given the current situation with the roster and finances.
