There were a couple of really nice snags in the Transfer Portal today including former Top 10 Joe Bamisilie going to Oklahoma and former LSU Guard Brandon Murray going to Georgetown. Expect both of these guys to be impact players this upcoming season.

Andrew Slater has some interesting news when it comes to the decision of Oscar Tschiebwe and the possibility of returning to Kentucky next season. After the NCAA Tournament loss to Saint Peters, this could be one of the bigger offseasons for John Calipari in recent memory.

A few teams from Conference USA have done a really good job bringing in high level talent from the Transfer Portal. Teams like UAB and Western Kentucky have brought in talent from the SEC, who should all do some pretty good work in Conference USA. This includes guys like Eric Gaines and Donatie Allen who are really good players, but didn't get that time to shine on the floor at a big school, so transfering down is always an option.

Armando Bacot returning to school is not only great news for North Carolina but great news for the sport of College Basketball. With NIL, The Transfer Portal giving current players as many options as they've ever had, we are going to see some of the top players in the sport come back. Weather it is because they think they could ultimately put themselves in a better position for the NBA or to make more money. If Caleb Love and RJ Davis both return, which seems somewhat likely, this could be the best team in College Basketball heading into next season.

Jay Wright stepping down as Villanova’s head coach and retiring. Wow.

Fordham’s Kyle Neptune will be hired as his replacement.

Nijel Pack just landed an $800,000 NIL deal (plus a car) after transferring from Kansas State to Miami. Sheesh.

Iowa State Transfer Tyrese Hunter has dropped his Final 6 Schools... Louisville, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas, Gonzaga, Kansas. Will be an impact player wherever he ends up.

Guys like Caleb Love, Hunter Dickinson and Armando Bacot announcing their intentions to return to school, is great for College Basketball. NIL giving the star players the ability to make some money, if they want o come back to school and might not be ready for the NBA.

Like it or not, the era of pay-for-play in college sports is here.

On3: Report: Miami star Isaiah Wong announces future plans following NIL ultimatum

Isaiah Wong has made his decision. He’s staying at Miami.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony and Dan Murphy reported Wong is staying with the Hurricanes despite his ultimatum Thursday regarding his NIL compensation. He said if it wasn’t increased, he’d enter the transfer portal in search of more opportunities.
