Spent 20 bucks on Storen in my auction draft, so of course Toronto gives the closer's job to Osuna, ugh.

Already killed it in one draft -- gonna kill it in my other draft on Sunday.

So I'm terrible at technology and uploading gifs. But you get the point.

Eww. That sucks. But that's also way too much for a closer IMO. Assuming you're in roto, I would try to get the best in Kimbrel or Britton. Maybe Melancon. For no more than $20 if it's a $260 budget. So you at least get some saves. Otherwise wait and load up on $1-$2 8th inning guys with high K rates. Some of them eventually become closers anyway as volatile as the position is, and what you lack early on in saves, you make up for in Ks and maybe steal a W here and there.

Just have to keep an eye out for the closer who loses his job or suffers injury.

I'm in a league with a lot of roster spots and 4 starting OF (12 team). OF drops off badly this year. Anyone got a good sleeper there?

Some guy named Mike Trout is supposed to breakout this year.

Seriously though. Josh Harrison might go late and should have multi position eligibility. 2B, 3B, OF in Yahoo and ESPN. The Cardinals youngsters Piscotty and Grichuck. Piscotty should carry 1B and OF eligibility. Mark Trumbo also has 1B/OF if you like dingers and can make up OBP and AVG elsewhere.

And McNulty. And Michael Keltics.

Funny enough, OF became the strength of my team. I wound up with first pick in our league, which is points for almost every category you can think of, and Harper scored the best. He was my first pick and a bunch of owners were taking MI and RP too early, wound up with a very solid team for my league I think.

C Schwarber
1B Abreu
2B Panik
3B Longoria
SS Andrus
CI Lind
MI Solarte
OF Harper
OF JD Martinez
OF Heyward
OF Choo
UT Inciarte

Bench: SS Reyes, C Molina, OF Markakis, SS Aybar, OF Rosario

SP Bumgarner
SP Hamels
SP McHugh
SP Odorizzi
SP Ross
RP Ramos
RP Rodney

Bench: SP Volquez, SP Santana, SP Holland, SP Gausman, SP Ray, RP Colome

For our scoring system and a 12 team league I am pleased. Will probably drop/trade Rosario at some point for a more diversified bench and Gausman on the DL will open up a spot. We don't have innings limits and you can stream as long as you don't have more than 9 active pitchers or make more than 3 moves a week.

Also MIke, had Harrison and Piscotty queued up only to see them go 1-2 before me. Tough when you're back to back at the end of rounds. Griuchuk went way too early .

It's an AL only league with 11 teams  so there's not alot out there.  Even most of the speculative closers are taken.  Something may come along though so I'll see.  I also have Dave Robertson which helps, but with 11 teams in the league I was counting on 2 closers to get me a bunch of saves.  I had several stud pitchers that were keepers that allowed me to "overpay" for Storen.  I've got both Keuchel and Richards at a dollar a piece and I've got Andrew Heaney at 3.  A guy in the league said he'd trade me Brtitton (10) dollars for Richards but I"m not so sure I want to do that.  Other pitchers of worth on my team are Sonny Gray, Medlen, and Colby Lewis

Had a 6 hour Ottoneu auction draft last night. Only my second auction draft I've ever done but I feel ok about my team. I'm more worried about the rules with inning limits and whatnot.

OF is a clear weak spot (SS probably too) but otherwise you put yourself in a good position

I'm using Machado at SS right now. I tried to focus on positional flexibility a bit. Hopefully can find something later with my 20 leftover dollars.

Early on prices were inflated greatly (Trout for 71, Harper for 70, etc) but there were some pretty good deals later on when everyone ran low on money. I like having 6 closers for the price I got them at.
