He started out pretty bad in Norfolk as I recall. I'll be curious to see if they've made many adjustments from ST. Orioles seem to be cultivating 2 seam guys and he seemed to have that but not much else.

Gallardo seems like the most obvious choice to me.  I think they move Ubaldo to the pen rather than DFA him if he rejects a minor league assignment.  Just can't see them eating that much oney.

The Orioles have lost pitcher Odrisamer Despaigne on a waiver claim by the Marlins.

 

Despaigne was placed on waivers a few days ago, after the Orioles were unable to complete a trade. They designated him for assignment on Sept. 5.
