I know hardly anybody cares about Track and Field but you should check out this video of Kiprop setting a new WR in the 1500, The race only takes 3:26.69 so you should check it out.  Just look at the turnover of those guys running and you'll get a sense of how fast they're flying!  Centrowitz PR's in this race and runs the 4th fastest American time ever and he still gets smoked!  World Championships are next month, with the Olympics coming next year look for all the big names to be going after it at Worlds this year.

A mile is 1609 meters.  At the championship meets they run the 1500 meters which is why most meets will run a 1500 as opposed to the mile.

Well no wonder.  According to Wikipedia he's 6-2 and his legs appear to be about 5-11.

Seriously though, good stuff.  Already getting excited for the Olympics next year, hope the Brazilians get their stuff together.

That was weird to see the leaders keep dropping out - I guess pacing is legal in some races?

Yeah rabbit's are allowed in any non championship race.  You can make some solid coin if you can be a good pace setter.
