My brotha. I decided to try out Mac around a year ago, I bought a 2012 Macbook Pro from Craigslist. It was just what I had been looking for. I was already running Linux on my laptop, but this was like running Linux except companies actually cared about you -- you could get WebEx, MS Office, all the VPN clients at work, etc.
Later I bought my oldest daughter an older used Macbook because I'm planning to send her to college with one. Now she'll get my hand-me-down and her little sister will get hers.
I have an iPhone and iPad too. It's nice to be able to get all my text messages/phone calls on all my devices.

Damn I forgot the iPad. I'm sick. I have the apple router too.

That was my gift to myself for Xmas. You're gonna love it!

Bought my mom in Fla an iPad for her Bday/Xmas. She's about the least tech savvy person you'll meet, and loves it. With me on the West Coast and my sister in Germany, she can't get enough of FaceTime.
I don't know if I'd call myself a fanboy. I definitely wouldn't be caught dead standing in line on iPhone release day. I usually only upgrade every 3 years...just last month I finally sold my 4S and got the 6. And I still have an iPod Nano (that I seldom use), and that one was given to me by Apple when they did the recall on the original Nano that I bought in like 2005.

I just discovered kiku at the Harris Teeter near my work a few weeks ago. They're in their own little case near the rest of the apples, and there is an advertisement placard saying they 'may just be the sweetest apple you've ever tasted' or something like that, and darn if it isn't. They are really, really good apples! I've been eating 3-4 a week, including one as I type this post.

My Macbook Air that I got almost two years ago runs just as well as when I bought it. I've never been able to say that about a Windows computer.

I've had my Macbook for a few years now, and didn't have any issues with malware like I always used to on my PC, but just in the last several months I've gotten some Malware and non stop ads when browsing. The adblock and whatever virus protection program (can't remember the name) that I already have don't seem to be doing the trick, anyone got any particular program suggestions?

About to upgrade to an iPhone 6 with a new contract and they still want $200 or whatever. Insane.

Does that have the thumbprint scanner? My iPhone 5S has it. I know it's controversial, but it's the best thing ever.

I upgraded to the 6 a couple months ago. Yeah, the thumbprint scanner rocks.
The downside is the Thunderbolt connector. I had the 4S before, and the two dockable speakers I have took the 32-pin connector. Now they're a couple of doorstops.
