Most important news of the offseason is the implementation of a shot clock. 80 seconds total for a possession. This includes 20 seconds to get the ball across midfield. This is great news and long overdue. Happy to see this rule change finally go through.

Couldn't agree more. It's been a long time coming for college lax. I've heard it's going really well in some of the scrimmages and tourneys before the season starts.

Going to be interesting to see how many teams adapt and react to this. Will the traditional 2 way midfielders resurrect? Or will teams become more efficient in their substitution game and jumping right into a possession?

Duke's off to their annual slow start again. Lost to High Point yesterday, and if I'm not mistaken, they lost to High Point early last season too.
Edit: I am mistaken. It was Penn, not HPU.

Towson putting an absolute beat down on #7 Hopkins right now. 16-6 in the 4th. The Blue Jays defense is nonexistent. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come this season for the Tigers.
