I like Yards a lot. In fact my Uncle's frat brother is apparently one of the founders. So before you could get Yards in MD, my Uncle always had some cases of it on hand. 

Can't wait to check out Suspended as well. 

Ditto on Waverly scoring points for being close to Union. Beers at Union, beers at Waverly, finish up with Blue Pit BBQ for eats is quite a nice little day out in a 2 block radius.

Monument is walkable from my house, so I've been going there a bit recently. Really like their 51 Rye.

You excluded Union's best brew from your list.  Black Wing,  their Skip Jack Pilsner is top notch as well.

At this point I would probably put Union as my #1 MD Brewery

I believe we have very different tastes in beer.

Yes, I like all the colors of the rainbow and you like hops     I'll give you partial credit for mentioning Snow Pants.  I stand by my claim about Black Wing though.  The others you mentioned are solid brews but Blackwing is something that can be had and enjoyed at any time of the year no matter the weather or season which puts it on top for me

I've never been to Union's brewery, at this point I think I'll wait until they move to their new location and then check them out. 

Haha, I like plenty of styles. Hoppy beers are my favorite though. I'd guess that most people who would read something like I'm working on would be more focused on hoppy beers, stouts, sours, Belgians,barrel aged, and beer that pushes boundaries more so than lagers and pilsners. But hey, I mentioned Prima Pils for Victory.

And yeah, I think the new place will be really good. Unfortunately it won't be as easy though to do the double header of Union and Waverly.

I agree, IPAs are the most popular style (they used to be for me too but not anymore).  The others you mentioned are good as well,  I'm not much of a sour beer guy but everthing else you mentioned I'll drink.  Prima Pils is good although I think their Headwater Pale Ale is probably better. 

Basically where I'm at these days is I'm more interested in something that I can have 2 or 3 of and not be done.  That's kind of why I enjoy the lagers/pils/porters etc a bit more. Those bigger beers are nice but often they have a higher abv.  I think a nice saison is a good style.  It's something that has a bit more spice than a basic beer but lower abv than a "big" beer.  Heavy Seas used to make a great one Red Sky at night but they stopped making it which is a shame.
