Ugh.

I hate to say it but I'm starting to cringe whenever Buck opens his mouth. I didn't want that to happen.

Props for a player who's 1 for 16 with 9 K's? And this was the player you wanted for years? Another low OBP, high K player? Don't we have enough of that one-trick pony garbage?

Seems to me Buck's time is coming to an end and probably deservedly so. I'll always appreciate his time here though...best O's manager in my lifetime, and yeah, I remember Davey Johnson.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Maybe. Maybe the injury (something he's dealt with before) was part of why he wasn't hitting (and why Santander had been playing over him in RF).

Need for an arm was probably the driver though.

Colby Rasmus threw from 120 feet and did agility and trunk exercises. Start swinging bat end of week #orioles

Colby Rasmus progressing to where he's close to playing games at extended spring training. Chris Tillman will stay with #orioles through homestand. No plans for now till he "manages back," Buck said, and team makes sure injury is something that can be resolved.

Colby Rasmus tonight at AA Bowie: grounded out, walked, lined out and struck out. He played right field. #orioles #baysox

Rickard isn’t a major league player.

Rasmus was a very highly touted prospect but by now it’s clear he isn’t an every day MLB player.

Rickard will never be the player Rasmus was but he could at least be be a decent 4th OF. At this point I'd rather see Rickard over Rasmus. Beginning of the years was a different story.

I am not sure why we would bring Rasmus back other than he is a left handed bat, sort of.

Rickard is the exact type of player that hangs around bad teams.

He is a guy that has some tools but they don't translate into good baseball.  He can run, but not a good base runner or not particularly a good outfielder.  He can hit some against lefties, but not enough to really help win games on a consistent basis.
