Gortat's trade means more minutes for Alex Len. That will be good for Len's development overall, but probably brutal to watch early on.

After surgery on his ankles, he wasn't able to do much for 5 months. He's been able to practice since camp started October 1st, but is behind in his training... along with going through normal rookie adjustments.

The Suns now have 4 1st round selections for 2014.

There's no way they'll survive the loss of Kendall Marshall.

On another note, it makes me very sad that Kendall should be a Senior at UNC this upcoming season.

and he's out of the NBA. Sucks.

Hope some kids learn a lesson from his case..

The Suns now have 4 1st round selections for 2014.

They'll need some things to go right to have all four of those picks in 2014, most notably Washington's pick isn't Top 12 and Minnesota's isn't Top 13, but if it does happen they could really get some nice players to build with. Imagine if this was also one of the years they were due to get a 1st Rounder from the Lakers in the Nash trade. I believe they will get a 2nd from LA for 2014 as part of that deal though.

WOW!

2 more buckets in the past minute. 6-for-6 on the night so far. He is just abusing Robin Lopez.

As much as I despise this team, you can't help but admire what they've done this year.  8 games over .500 in a brutal conference.

If the vote were held today, I'd say Jeff Hornacek would be the Coach of the Year.

EDIT: And while it's no longer an official award, go ahead and crown Channing Frye as Unofficial Comeback Player of the Year

Out of curiosity, why do you despise the Suns?  I'm sure you have your reasons, they just seem like a pretty non-offensive team to me.

Been pulling for them this year due to Len and the fact that I have some childhood friends in Phoenix who are big fans.

Inside MD Sports: Alex Len: Back-to-Back Career Highs, Highlight Reel Breakaway

http://maryland.247s...akaway-33042375

On Saturday, Len scored a career-high 17 points on 11 shots. As an encore tonight, he followed it up by besting that total -- scoring 19 points -- and doing it in just ten shots.
