It wouldn't take much modification to turn that 6 into a 15 and put her into the "Tebowing" position.

Outstanding! Don't know if the Jets have any good RBs, so this might be a fit for the team if they go with Cameron.

Jets will have 3 offensive coordinators in 3 yrs. Top names on #Jets wish list are Norv Turner, Cam Cameron.

But can Sanchez throw it 75 yards straight down the field 30 times per game?

Tebow cut.

A good move for the Jets and for Tebow. End the charade so maybe they can be taken seriously again and let Tebow go somewhere they actually wants him and could give him an honest shot. I personally hope he comes home and goes to the Jags. From Jacksonville, school at UF, he's a god here and it would do a lot to at least drum up interest in a team that is the punch line of a lot of jokes around here. And let's face it, no one believes in Blaine Gabbert. If they're throwing footballs through a tire swing, I'll take Gabbert, but leading a group of men at anything, give me Tebow.

I'm going to go off on a little bit of a rant here....

I'm seeing a lot of hate on Tebow throughout social media this morning.  I get it, Tebow sucks as a QB.  He sucked as an NFL QB coming out of collge and hasn't gotten any better.  He'll always suck as a QB.

With that said, the guy was able to secure and NFL gig and won some big games.  He did it more so because of his drive and determination which is rare at the NFL level.

The kind of hate spewed towards him today is uncalled for in my opinion.  I understand we got tired of the endless Tebow talk but you should know better than that.

It's easy to be a mediocre individual today and laugh at the guy who attempted to defy odds in the NFL.  I don't have any respect for those that point fingers at the guy who tries to be great and fails.  Go ahead and laugh from the meager comforts of your own self limitations.

Secondly, the Jets screwed Tebow by doing this today.  He choose the Jets because he wanted to play there and they screw him by releasing him after most teams made QB plans.  I know full well the NFL is a business but they didn't arrive at this decision today.  They could've made this move Wednesday.

Rex Ryan and the Jets are a terrible football organization with no one running the ship who has a clue about the NFL.  They don't know if they want Geno Smith or not.  They don't know anything.  Their head coach is now running around with a tattoo of the next guy who is about to get cut.  That will be tough to explain when Ryan is fired after another 6-10 season.

I'm not a Tebow fan and couldn't care less about the guy.  I'm not much of a religious guy either.  But I'll always admire those who try and fail (or succeed).  Particularly when they do it in today's NFL.

Rant over...

Tebow is not responsible for the coverage which has surrounded him. I respect the fact that he works hard. Even today he was already in the locker-room when he was called in to hear he as being released.

However, I don't feel sorry for him, or feel the Jets did him wrong. Could they have released him earlier? Yeah, I think they could have.. but if they felt like there was a chance they could get a draft pick for him, by holding him through the draft - isn't that the responsibility of the Jets Front Office?

There also reports the Jets gave Tebow permission to seek an off-season trade. Several teams were interested in him as a TE, Tebow said no. That was his right, but it's hard for me to think the Jets did him wrong.

I don't expect any team that drafted a QB to bring Tebow in, but if other teams believe he can play, and is better than what they have; won't they bring him in?

I do agree with Adam that it would be interesting to see him wind-up in Jacksonville.

I don't feel sorry for him either, quite the opposite.  My issue is more to do with those who are sending him Wendy's job applications on Twitter today.

The Jets knew full well if they could've gotten a pick for Tebow prior to the draft.  It's clear to me that the Jets didn't communicate to Tebow their plans at any point in time.

Maybe Tebow should've seen the writing on the wall.  When the Jets started Greg McIlroy instead of him or signed David Garrard or the other 5 QBs on the roster, maybe Tebow should've took notice.

The Jets had no plans for Tim Tebow for this year.  That was evident back in November.

If the Jets, with their 5 QBs heading into the draft, were hoping that a team was going to flip them a pick for Tebow than that confirms much of what I think of them.

I think the hate for Tim Tebow really comes from the media. Because ESPN gave him so much unwarranted attention, people started hated him for it. Now should the public have? No, but the association between the two (Tebow/ESPN) caused this.

Not his fault at all, but that's how it goes.

There is no doubt the Jets screwed this whole thing up.

How they handled him from the beginning was wrong.

Now, I don't doubt that they saw him in practice and were like, wow, he is a lot worse than we thought and that alone changes their plan but still, they could have just handled the whole thing better.

But Tebow also needs to understand that he is a limited player and would be better off if he were willing to play other positions.

Good stuff Miller, I agree 100%. The Jets are a joke, and people hiding behind their keyboards are punks. I respect Tebow a ton, even though I've never rooted for him, per se. I strongly dislike Florida. I did enjoy his beating Pittsburgh. ;)

Someone is going to have to sit Tebow down and tell him he'll get a couple of camp invites as a FB or he can go join urban Meyer's staff at Ohio State

He's going to end up in Canada playing QB IMO.

i agree with what with Cris Carter said on Mike and Mike today...no one is going to want him as a TE or WR.

His role would have to be a gimmick type guy.

Re: the Jags. I've seen this a few times, neither the coach or GM are interested in him. The owner was last year but not so much anymore.

That said, we've seen a few times, where people say one thing and do another.

Yeah, I've seen that as well. It could have just been posturing, as maybe they knew that the Jets knew they were the only possible team that a trade would work with, so just express no interest, force the Jets to cut him, and then give him a shot. Who knows. I do tend to think they honestly don't want him though.
