Tigers are considering a 6 man rotation. I wonder if that will be something the Orioles look at.

I think we will see more teams try it. I was disappointed to see only a 26 man roster. I think most teams will limit their starters to around 140-150 innings, max for their starters. Teams like the Orioles who will at some point this year, begin to give innings to prospects who pitched very little last year will probably want to max somewhere around 90 innings. A 6 man rotation makes a lot of sense.
28 man roster would have taken the strain off pitchers and made it easier to go with 6 man rotations.

He looks a little heavier than I remember but it is pretty cool to see King Felix in the Oriole orange.First pic of Felix in an O's uniform

It has to feel good for the players to be on the field. It also sounds like Hyde has given how to manage the innings a lot of thought. I really hope Hyde survives, so we can see how he would do with a team trying to win.

I will be surprised if we do not go with a 6 man rotation. No sense to overwork the young arms that hopefully will be the future.

I think for the first few weeks/month.
I am not sure it will not be a year long thing. Either that or they will give pitchers down time during the year.

I am still hoping the team does the right thing, and says good bye to CD. That allows Mancini and Mountcastle to alternate between 1st and DH, with Hays, Mullins and Santander in the outfield.

I liked Mullins defense and bunting for base hits but I'd rather put Mountcastle in LF and let DJ Stewart get a real chance at DH with Mullins serving as a pinch runner/defensive replacement but I'm biased because I already wrote an article arguing for that lol
