Tough night Ravens fans! Too many missed opportunities to count. The off-season arrives earlier than we hoped, and the leadership at The Castle will have to get back to work on trying to get over the hump.

What can you do in the offseason to execute better in the postseason. I dont know have an answer. You can put together the best team in the league on paper but if the execution is as bad as its been the last 3 years it won't matter. We will continue to lose.

This might be a hot take, but I'm wondering if we should entertain trade possibilities for Mark Andrews. He just drops way too many passes.
I think that if Roman sticks around, he needs some help developing the passing game. I don't think he's going to be the one that picks good routes for the receivers.
And this is a broken record but we need a new center yesterday.

They must shore up the OL, get a capable center, and get a legit #1 receiver target who doesn't drop the ball during big games. The problem is they will be losing one or two pass rushers in Judon and Ngakoue and still might have other holes to fill.
Now, if you want to entertain fantasy I would fire Harbaugh and replace him with Doug Pederson whom I can't believe the Eagles let go. I think he is a much better coach. But that isn't going to happen.
Harbaugh isn't going to be fired. For all of the complaints that are legitimate, you can't fire a head coach with his resume. That is not a path to success in the NFL. The OL does need attention. It needed it last year and that is on DeCosta. WR is an issue, and I really don't know what the Ravens do there. They haven't been good at developing WRs for as long as they have been in Baltimore. Harbuagh has some problems in game day, but he is one of the best preparation coaches in the game. Firing him would set the team back big time.

Who the hell knows.
No extension for Lamar this off-season. Still needs to prove more.
Won’t be mad if major coaching changes are made (Roman, Harbs) given the complete unpreparedness and extreme underperformance in the divisional round...again. Even worse performance than last year. Half the team gave up on the play on the INT leading to an easy defensive TD. Said it before the game, last week fueled by revenge. What fueled them this week? Obviously, nothing.
Love to know the context of Harbaugh’s lame ass excuse at halftime that wind was effecting snaps. If he really believes that, he should be checked into a psych ward.
Don’t think a healthy Lamar in the 4th quarter changes anything. Got nothing going for 3+ quarters.
No excuses. Ravens shot themselves not in the foot. But in the face. Bills didn’t beat them. Everything was self inflicted.
Hope Lamar’s dome is okay. Concussion 100% is not a product of being a mobile QB. More a product of the worst Center play the league has ever seen in 101 years.
This is a good point, feels like the Bills were almost too respectful if the Ravens needed that sort of energy/motivation that much to succeed

I still think they have to diversify the offense a bit Not get away from the run game as their main thrust, but develop more of a passing game. Buffalo sold out all game long on the run and held Jackson to 34 yards rushing, Dobbins and Edwards to 42 yards rushing apiece. The Ravens are great at crushing the lesser teams in the league with their power running game. When that gets stopped in the playoffs, or they get behind by more than one score, they suddenly become very beatable. It's well known around the league, but there just aren't that many good teams to do that during the regular season. When you get to the playoffs everyone is better than the Dallas, Jacksonville, Cincinnati group that the Raven's feasted on the last 5 weeks of the season.

The problem whether fans here agree with it or not, when teams take the run away from Lamar he folds. The passing completion percentage and TDs the last couple of years have been fine. The problem is he seems to also been very streaky! When he’s hot amd playing with confidence he’s all world. When he’s not he has subpar value. Interceptions happen due to tipped passes and stuff like that, but Lamar’s have been mostly piss poor and all on him. When your defense gives up 10 points you should win easy.

Yes, that is why I used the word "fantasy" and also said, "But that is not going to happen." In a vacuum though, I would swap Harbaugh and his staff for Pederson's and about a half dozen other staffs around the league.
Another thing the Ravens must do is draft better in the first round. They make up for it with the rest of their draft picks, but the lack of hits in the first round outside of Lamar is startling. Hollywood has come on of late, but he's not really a number one receiver. Queen this year had been suspect. Hayden Hurst, picked when Calvin Ridley was still on the board, is no longer with the team. Improve these picks and the team gets a lot better. I hate it when they trade back.

I thought for sure Ridley was a top-5 pick. Absolutely loved his film. To see him slide down the board and the Ravens keep moving back irritated the hell out of me. Then to take a 25-year-old TE...I was not a happy camper.

Also. Watching Mathieu today, just annoys me that we couldn't get a deal done with him over KC. He is exactly what our secondary needs. Knowing we went after him hard and lost out hurts. He's the kind of difference maker we need on the back end.
Him over Thomas was the right call, and a couple of us made it at the time.
