Maryland just released their depth chart for this game. Primary takeaways are below.
Nearly all of the key players who missed the Indiana game due to COVID-19 protocols are back. RB Jake Funk, WR Rakim Jarrett, WR Jeshaun Jones, OL Johnny Jordan, OL Marcus Minor, LB Fa'Najae Gotay, DB Nick Cross, and DB Tarheeb Still all return. The team is still without LB Ayinde Eley.
- Corey Dyches makes his first appearance on the depth chart as a backup TE, which is interesting as he was recruited as a WR.
- The defensive line has been shuffled a bit, with Sam Okuayinonu moving from DT to DE and Mosiah Nasili-Kite replacing him at DT.
- The linebacking corps has also been shuffled, with Lawtez Rogers moving from DE to JACK and Chance Campbell moving from MIKE to WILL, replacing Eley. Ruben Hyppolite II will start in Campbell's place at MIKE.
While the NCAA has granted all players another year of eligibility for next season if they so choose, the following players will be honored for Senior Day and move on:
- RB Jake Funk
- TE Zach Roski
- OL Johnny Jordan
- DL Cherokee Glasgow
- LB Shaq Smith
- DB Antwaine Richardson
- K Tyler Rockhill
