Just watched Gilman against Mervo online, great great game. Mervo pulled it out, 73-72 in OT. Gilman got hosed by the refs. Gilman steals the ball going in for a layup, refs stops play and says that play was stop before the steal because of an inadvertent whistle. Even after that, Gilman steals the ball again, kid makes a horrible pass, Rayuan Lane picks up loose ball and misses a 10 footer at the buzzer.

Jordan Foster had 25 to lead Gilman, he was spectacular. Christian Winborne was held to 1 point in the second half, after having 11 in the first. Mervo went to box and 1 on him in the second. Gilman was the better team, some more very questionable coaching decisions by Gilman’s coach. They led most of the game, but every time they get a little lead, he puts in kids who shouldn’t step on the floor.

Gilman is very good this year. They have a special backcourt, with Foster and Winborne. Have another super soph in Jalen Marshall as well. If Malik Missouri can take the next step, they could make some noise this year. They played without Matt Cooper as well, who has been out with the flu.

Good question. Not sure. Gilman had a hard time even getting him the ball, kid was all over him.

I’m looking forward to watching the Gilman-Loyola game online on Monday. Gilman blew Dunbar out today. We will see where both teams are at that point. My money is on Loyola, I don’t trust Gilman’s coach. Gilman will be the more talented team, but he will find a way to blow it.

Is Coach Green still at Gilman?

Gilman with a big 59-52 win over Loyola, making them 3-0 in the conference. This game shouldn’t have been close, and for once I can’t blame it on the coach. He only played 7 players, he only had 10 available, as seems like the flu bug has hit the team and 4 guys weren’t there. Gilman had a double digit lead most of the first half, but only scored 3 points in the third and trailed by 4 going into the 4th. Then it just became the Christian Winborne show, as he scored 12 in the fourth. Special player, who is way too unselfish. Jordan Foster has the worst game I’ve ever seen him play, easily had 10 turnovers and fouled out early in the 4th.

If this Gilman team had any big man play, they would be a very special team. I don’t know if Missouri is hurt or not, he’s playing with a knee sleeve, but he’s almost a liability on the court. They’re much better without him on the court, and playing a four guard offense. SFA is by far the best team in the conference, and will blow Gilman out. MSJ is a little down but still better. But Gilman could legitimately be the third best team in the league this year.

I’m not sure, he’s definitely not coaching JV anymore. And I didn’t see him on the bench online at this Loyola game.

They beat them 69-55, but I heard it wasn’t even that close.

Ignore what I wrote above, MSJ is WAY DOWN, they just lost to McDonogh 69-60. The same McD team that lost to B conference St. Paul’s, blown out by Franklin, and barely beat a horrible Mt. Carmel team.

And just like that, the horrible Gilman coaching rears it’s ugly head. Up 34-19 at the half and leading by 5 with 2 mins left in the game, Mt. Carmel goes on an 13-3 run to end the game and Gilman some how loses 65-57. Just embarrassing.

Damn, I didn’t know they played. When is that game? Should be good. A good fend off mine nephew transferred to City, kid Ahmad Harrison. They’re stacked. I might come in town for the Ravens playoff games, will let you know.
