So Plank is buying up the Port Convington area, and word from a development forum I frequent says Nick's Fish House and Wal Mart are were also bought...sounds like there could be some huge development in that part of town within the next few years.

Westport has been in development/for sale for years now too. That section of the city could look a lot different in a few years.

I wonder if this could potentially serve as a new UA campus -- or something else?

Potential step 1...

The Sagamore Spirit distillery, another Plank venture, is the first new construction to be discussed publicly for the more than 120 acres assembled by Plank’s Sagamore Development Co. on the South Baltimore peninsula. Sagamore Development is working on a master plan for the area, where Plank wants to build a mixed-use hub for Under Armour and its employees.

Are those photographs of a computer or projection screen?  Those are horrible renderings if that's what they are supposed to look like.

I imagine they'll have to re-work the jughandle to get from Hanover St to Cromwell St if hundreds of more people will be commuting to work there.  That can be a pain in the ass already even though that area is mostly dead.

Did UA buy that Walmart?  I hadn't realized that.

I bet Nick's Fish House loves the idea of this new UA campus.

Yep. Pretty easy to see the reflection of two lights in the upper-right part of the screen on a couple of those shots. Guess UA/Sagamore hasn't yet publicly released the actual files of the renderings.

Is that Walmart still open? I remember reading the Sam's Club closed a few years ago. That always seemed like a lousy location for a couple of big-box stores....right on some of the last undeveloped waterfront real estate in the city.

And didn't Kevin Plank kind of entice the new owner of Nick's (forget his name, but he also owns the Starboard in Dewey Beach) to buy the place based on UA's future plans for that area?

My guess is it's a screen grab from Sim City.

Tons of development in the city -- very little in the downtown sector.

What was the source for that rendering? Haven't seen that one before. Looks amazing if it's something that will come to fruition.

Nick's Fishhouse is certainly gonna get a lot more crowded.

I pity the drivers coming inbound from the north in the morning and the south in the evening.

Looks like freaking Albany:

Why does this vid remind me of OCP's New Detroit?
