After a perfect start to their season, Maryland begins conference play with a road trip to Ann Arbor, MI. The Wolverines are currently ranked as the 4th-best team in the country after blowout wins over Colorado State, Hawaii, and UConn to start the year. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has settled on sophomore QB J.J. McCarthy as his starter, with the talented dual-threat signal-caller winning the job over a now-injured Cade McNamara.

Ideally you hit them in the mouth first.
If you take the first shot, don't immediately break - show some resiliency.
Try to keep extending the game. Go in with a mentality that you are going to fight.
Penalties last night were crazy. How clean a game can you play?
You are going to give up points.
You need to tighten up in the RZ, and make defensive stands on 3rd downs.
MD spent a lot of time last night rushing 3, and dropping everyone else back into coverage... can you keep Michigan from getting behind you, and force them to work their way down the field?

Hyppolite II didn’t travel with the team, and is inactive today. Significant loss for Maryland’s defense.

I've definitely reached the age that when they show the stands of college games, all the kids look super young.

It is pretty easy to see the difference between the Terp program and schools like Michigan. The atmosphere. Wow.
