Trying out a new column that I think could come in handy for fans of the Orioles and baseball cards.

Good stuff, thanks.

Way too many different sets -- I'll stick to just collecting/ripping the Bowman/Bowman Chrome and Topps Series 1,2,update, chrome, etc

I don't get into stuff like, "Topps Fire!" for example.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Yeah those are the sets I was thinking of covering. I’ll dabble in breaks of the other stuff but it’s not all that interesting.

What's your best rip to date?

Mine is still the Luis Robert SSP that I pulled from, I believe, 2020 Topps series 2?

I posted about it in this thread I think.

Sold it raw almost immediately for about a grand -- now, I see sold listings of a BGS 9.5 for $400 or so.

Market has crashed.  It really has.

2 years ago I sold a Vaughn Grissom 1st Bowman auto #/499 for $25. One sold today for $355.

But I also sold a Jhon Torres 1st Bowman auto #/50 for $250. Today the #/99 variant went for $6.50. Decimal not a typo.

Win some lose some.

Haven’t looked in my box in a while. I wonder how many 1st bowman’s I never heard of 2 years ago are more well known today.
