Nice check list Pat.

The next month will be fun, and maybe a snapshot of what Willard will be able to do recruiting going forward.

I like the number of point guards on the list.

How confident are we that Reese can bang in the post? He did pretty well in the post on offense, but seemed to foul too often on defense. I tend to think this is correctable. It kind of feels like if Reese can develop more as a post player, then losing Wahab (who was losing minutes anyway) isn't the end of the world.

You see the fouling issues fairly often with freshman big men, it’s definitely something he’ll need to work on along with bulking up a bit. I also think developing a more reliable outside shot is in his future, not sure if that’ll come this year or not.

He reminds me of Ibekwe and Gist. Maybe not quite as athletic as either of them, but similar body type.

Yeah I know - I think one of the biggest changes between year 1 and year 2 with Stix is that in year 2 he learned how to play defense without fouling. Hoping Reese can do something similar. But then I think Stix was unusually good at playing post defense without fouling - I've never seen anyone else in college play post defense with such discipline, and certainly not anyone with Stix's athleticism.

The comparison to James Gist is a real good one.

I think Reese is  going to get better if he gets stronger,  I also think the outside shot needs to improve if he is going to be a force in the B10.
