Do you also post at RSR, or The Sun forums, OH, or at MASN (the Roch or Melewski blogs)?
Maybe Camden Chat, Testudo Times, IMS, Baltimore Beatdown, Reddit?

If you are posting somewhere else, consider linking to our content.

You can direct people to:

Our Front page...
Our Writers...
The Forum...

We have an outstanding group of writers / analysts with the site... help other O's / Ravens / Terps fans find this content.

Thanks!

Shocking I know :)

In the local sports media thread I named some people from local outlets I like.

There is good coverage to find in lots of different places... just want to see our guys get more recognition elsewhere for the work they produce.

I just saw that it has been just over 4 years since my last post at OH.

I can't believe it has been that long already.

Damn time flies.

Then again, that's when the Os starting being good.

What's crazier? That it's been 4 years, or that I don't remotely miss it?

Don't get me wrong, at first I did, there's still so many good people over there who didn't make the jump. But after the initial withdrawal, I don't see a reason whatsoever why one would prefer that to this. But to each their own.

The only thing I miss is being able to have conversation with more people.  Its not this poster or that poster (although there are some of those too).   Its the amount of posters.  Yea, I didn't like some of them and some of those are here now but for the majority of the people, I enjoyed that part of it.

This board sometimes gets a little stagnant with stuff to talk about, at least on the Orioles section.  That's not anyone's fault and trust me, a lot of the threads over at OH aren't worth discussing, its just that it would be nice to have more.  But overall, I agree with you.

Steal topics and discuss it here. Im the opposite. I prefer and enjoy the smaller board. Not having to pick through nearly as many posts.

I'd like it if it were a bit busier at times, but I like that I can identify each post by its author and know a little something about everybody, at some point, it'd get too tough to keep track of everybody.

Totally get what you're saying. I prefer it over here by a mile in that regard though. It's a board that, for the most part, sticks to logical posts, and that keeps the arguing way down.

It's amazing to me though, that as big of sports fans as we all are, many, if not most of our classic threads have been non sports related.

That's what I think is pretty neat. Just a more concentrated group of very like minded people... well, not like minded, still a bit of drama... but people with very similar interests.

Like when you and Pedro see a thread by me, and just skip right past it?

In large part, i agree with you.  Just that a little more would be good.

This board goes outside of the Os stuff better than OH does though.

This is the only board I post at on any topic. As I get older, maintaining an online presence and staying buried in my phone and laptop has lost its appeal to me. I largely think posting is a waste of time but I couldn't stop here. It's the only place where I feel I know everyone. You guys are my friends and I feel like I'm talking to my friends. Definitely have zero interest in posting at a large community.

I keep meaning to post in SOSH game threads when we're playing BOS... I did for a while, and they made me a member... I didn't ask for it, they just did it... but lately I keep forgetting to go there until after it's too late...

Last time I checked in there, I was listed as a "lurker" not a "member"... not sure why that is... maybe because I haven't been there much lately...

I think those guys are a hoot... a bunch of them really know baseball... and when they get into dissing their own team, they're way, way more entertaining than the unimaginative team-bashing we sometimes get in the game threads... O's bashers here should take lessons, they could learn something...  ;-)

I agree with those that prefer the smaller board. I think the foxhole got way too bloated in that regard. I really don't miss it at all. I don't even check it out.

That said, if I could hand pick 5-10 posters from over there, that would be great. That would help with the issue Rob brings up as well.

This is my home.

I'll occasionally say some stuff on reddit but that seems to be a young fan-boy base. People who haven't heard of Todd Frohwirth.

I have my opinions on all of you but I also relish reading what you'll say.

Speaking as someone who doesn't post all that often, but lurks quite a bit, this is the only forum I go to for news/discussion on local sports.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter is one of my main sources for news and info, but a lot of local stuff leads me straight here.

I started somewhat backwards though, with my first interaction being on a national forum dedicated to sports gaming, which led to a lot of sports and general discussion.

Todd 'which hand does he' Frohwirth?  I distinctly remember being 11 and thinking that was the funniest shit.

I revert to the OH when I am at the end of the internet and I'm stuck at work.  The signal to noise is ridiculous.
