Have we had this? Maybe we have. Hell, maybe I posted it myself. Apologies if so.

What's your worst sports moment as a fan?

The end of the Jeffrey Maier series?

Cundiff/Evans?

I gotta think that Len Bias' death has to be up there, of course.

The Colts leaving?

Theyre worse when youre younger. The back to back Evans drop/ Cundiff kick in theory is as bad as it can get. It didnt sting me the way Jeter, Grissom and Fernandez's HRs did. Gone in '54 sec may top everything though.

I think it's the '97 series. I swore that was THE year. Was my senior year of high school too, it was just in the cards. And then...yeah.

Jay Williams and the miraculous comeback in 2000.

Pick a game 7 loss for the Caps, but the Penguins ones sting the most.

It’s funny you say this. After Duke lost last night, I was pissed by the feeling went away pretty quickly.

10+ years ago, I would have been depressed for a week.

I think the ‘11 AFCCG ranks up there with the worst moments in BMORE sports so get over yourself.

But the double choke job in ‘69 to NY is definitely at the top of the list from a historical standpoint. I wouldn’t be born for another ten years.

‘97 ALCS was horrible. We were the best team in the AL all year. That was our year. 2014 kind of pales by comparison.

Back to Ravens, 2006 always stuck in my crawl. Losing to the Colts at home that way was just horrible.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Good call on that Sean. Holding that team to no TDs and still losing is really awful.

109 wins and underperforming pythag... wow. That's intense.

Anyone alive and old enough to enjoy O's World Series (plural, or even just one too) have NOTHING to complain about though... sorry.

They were 22 games up (yes, 22) with just a few to go... finished 18 or 19(?) games up...

The Mets also won 100 games. They werent some mediocre team. Were the best NL team by 7 games. Also, the NL was the stronger league back then.

1997 ALCS. Nothing comes close for me personally.

Game 6, bottom of the first, O's try a hit and run with Brady breaking for second(which we never did), Alomar hits a shot up the middle which would have been a single, instead was a double play as Vizquel was on his way to cover second...Berroa then doubles, which would have made it 2-0 O's right off the bat. Instead we don't score and obviously we all know what happened hours later.

I'll never not think about what might have been.

Never mind the way we lost games 3 (the phantom bunt/foul tip)and 4 (allowing 2 runs to score on a wild pitch before losing in extras)..

Cundiff was just an utter gut punch. It's hard to put much above that in my viewing experience.

The Ravens have had a few lower-level gut punches over the years. Zeus' personal foul in 2003, Boldin and Houshmandzadeh dropping passes against Pittsburgh in 2010.

Alex Gordon's tenth-inning leadoff homer in Game One of the 2014 ALCS was pretty tough, since I was there. Then Brian Matusz allowing the homer to Moustakis to put the game out of reach just pissed me off. Ibanez in Game Three against the Yankees in 2012 homering off of Jim Johnson in the ninth to tie and then off Matusz to walkoff in the 12th.

Fucking Matusz.

Maryland-Michigan State in 2010 was memorable: I was riding back from the ocean along BFES back roads with the broadcast fading in and out, and then they lose on a buzzer-beater...ugh.
