Its been an interesting year on this site.  Whether it was the opening (and quick closing) of the politics section, the many social issue arguments or the reason we are all here, sports talk.

We all have a wide array of opinions but, of course, that is part of why this site works.  Its been a fun year debating with everyone and hopefully it will continue.

Have a great holiday everyone and enjoy the time with family and friends.

Oh and screw the Steelers!

2016 happened, and we can't pretend it didn't.

Enjoy the holidays, enjoy the football (Christmas Eve football is The Best), and enjoy the time off.

Shalom, bitches!!!

Merry Christmas, everyone. Love to all of you and your families.

Hey Seth, please clue me in about a couple Jewish somethings that I know nothing about...

1. Is it normal for Jewish kids to load up on gifts received during Hanukkah (sp?) the way Christian and no-family-religion American kids do for XMAS? If so, what's the sequence of events? Is there something analogous to the XMAS routine of kids getting up in the morning all excited and (hopefully) finding an ample plenty under the tree? Or is it way different than that? From the parents-and-kids POV, how does that part of it work? And does Santa Claus or other mythical character exist in any form?

2. For folks who are culturally-Jewish but not especially religiously-Jewish, what parts of Hanukkah might they typically practice vs what parts might they skip over that a religiously-Jewish family would not skip over?

Happy Everything and Merry All-Of-It to You and Yours... (especially including that kid who you're raising right...)

Merry Christmas. It's certainly different, but for us, it's been decent, thankfully. Hopefully for many of you as well.

I always think about how good I have it on Christmas. Something in the neighborhood of 20% of kids in this country don't get any presents at all for Christmas. Each of us have a lot to be grateful for. As bad as 2020 was and is, that remains true. Hope everyone has had a safe and awesome Christmas (and had Alvin Kamara in their Fantasy Championship lineups).

First Christmas as a dad. My wife is so thoughtful. She got me a $100 gift certificate for the Orioles to take our little guy to his first game and get decent seats. I fricken shed a tear, caught so off guard, picturing that moment (not to mention going to a sporting event, period).

I got her a new coffee maker. She loves it...but I’m a jerk.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Anyone doing anything neat food wise?

Also pro-tip - Walmart continuously keeps stocking the Covid self tests. It often says not in stock, but if you keep checking online, you can secure some eventually. We were able to grab a few for four family for tomorrow, so that’s some nice peace of mind. Hope everyone stays healthy.
