Yep. I told y'all that I wouldn't want Westbrook.

I was right there with you.  I have never liked Westbrooks game and I like it less now.  FWIW, I have always liked watching Wall play so I am biased. but he looked like the old John Wall last night.  Westbrook looks like he is on the back end of his career.

And to think the Wizards gave up a draft pick in that stupid deal.  It's like Tony Kornheiser used to often say:  "The Wizards will trade young for old, tall for short, throw in draft picks, and then always start the season 9-20."    Just wow.

This has been a problem for the Wizards for many years.  They have made a practice of bringing in players who are not what they used to be, in the hopes that they can find the fountain of youth.

The all-time franchise record is 9 straight wins (which is pretty pathetic).  Beal seemed to hurt his leg at the end of last night's game, so hopefully he's healthy for tonight's game in San Antonio.

I thought the Wizards played sloppy for the first 43 minutes, but they turned it on the last 5 and won going away.  

Gafford really makes a difference.

Beal seemed to say he was okay in the post game interview.  Not much time to heel for him or Lopez, the Spurs are in town tonight.

I haven't seen an update on Beal, but Westbrook and Lopez are both questionable for tonight's game.

Westbrook had 20+ assists and rebounds last night, only the third time in NBA history that a player had done that.  The other two times were Wilt Chamberlain and...  Russell Westbrook.
