I echo the votes for Ice Hockey, Baseball Simulator, and Baseball Stars.

Only one I'm pretty sure I played was Madden 2004.

I don't know how many hours I spent creating a team in Baseball Stars, playing two person games by myself and blowing out the other team to earn more credits to make my team better. Probably dozens.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Any of the Backyard franchises were good.

Still a big fan of Mario Super Strikers and Power Pros.

I loved baseball stars. I'd spend hours making my team awesome and it would always get erased within a week. I didn't mind really.

You have to hold RESET in when you turn off the NES.

Baseball Stars and MVP 05 are the two best baseball games of their consoles generation. That's not underrated.

Madden 04 was arguably the best football game of its generation. NFL 2k5 is right there with it. That's not underrated.

That said, they hit on a few true underrated ones with Baseball Simulator, Ice Hockey, Lakers vs Celtics, and NHL 05 which as they said took out the blood but was superior in every way.

Coach K College Basketball. That is an underrated gem. Playing with Joe Smith FTW!!
