Spaten is delicious. Ayinger is still king of the Oktoberfest.

Yea, that is a great beer.  May have to go get some of that.

The Sam Adams Oktoberfest is fantastic this year.

Haven't had that one.  Need to get some.

Ayingers is good as well.  A marzen is a fantastic beer style so it's really hard to find a bad one, especially if you are going with a German made brew.  Plenty of breweries in the US make a great one as well.  Going back to Spaten for a minute, part of my reason for liking it is it's a great bang for your buck beer.  I got a 6 pack for 10 bucks which is about normal, but my beer store was selling a case of it for like 17 dollars!  If I didn't like trying so many different fall beers I would have gotten the case.  I may yet and just sit on a bunch and drink them in the winter.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Had Ballast Point's Oktoberfest today, which I thought was quite good.

Schlafly Pumpkin isn't bad. Pretty good actually. Not too pumpkin-y.

Surprising you would say that.  I consider that to be one of the more pumpkiny beers out there.   Not that it's a bad thing.
