The Brooklyn Nets are trading Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Sunday.
The Mavericks are sending Dorian Finney-Smith, Spencer Dinwiddie, an unprotected 2029 first-round pick and second-round picks in 2027 and 2029 to the Nets in exchange for Irving and Markieff Morris, sources said.

Bad trade for both teams?
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I like it for Brooklyn. I'd never trust Kyrie. They get out from under him, get 2 usable players back, and a pick.
Mavs get a great talent, but not someone you can depend on. Plus while both him and Luka can pass, they certainly like to dribble a lot, and have the ball in their hands.
In the regular season, Kyrie's scoring ability will help Luka.... but would be very surprising to me to see them win multiple series in the playoffs.
