And to think DD got him for Devin Jones (who was then released, re-signed with the O's and placed on the retired list). What a damn steal.

If healthy Bundy has to be there somewhere.

Great Deal for the Orioles with Brach. I think Brach maybe one of those guys who gets a little better each year. He has that edge, and I could see him eventually closing games for the Orioles.

Didn't realize that Brach pitched 79 innings last year. That is a ton of usage. So valuable. Even if the ERA drops a bit, with his ability to go multiple innings he's wildly valuable for the pen.
Givens is also great for his ability to pitch multiple innings. Hopefully we only need the pen to go 2-3 innings a night, but if a starter gets bounced early but the game is still close, we've got a couple guys like Givens and Brach who can cover 3 or 4 innings and before getting to the back end.

You may have noticed that nobody complains about "dumpster diving" when the topic is Brad Brach...

Would you like to go tit for tat on successful dumpster dives versus steaming piles of shit since 1998?
1998 has nothing to do with it... except for people who prefer to live in the past...
The only way the O's can be successful is to have a few expensive guys and several other guys who are really good but don't cost anything... it's just a simple fact....

Doesn't need to be tit for tat. 1 tit can equal many tats.
