I really, really wanted to go to the USA vs. GB game this weekend. But the Rodeo is in town, so Houston is just a mess to be in. I think I'll wait for the quarter finals round (also in Houston). As much fun as it would be to see USA steamroll over GB, it would be kind of a boring game, I'm sure. The next round will offer more compelling match ups. No joke, one of the hotels near the ballpark, is charging $10,600/night for a suite. Houston is rich AF.

Manny’s tenure in Baltimore is the Angelos ownership in a nut shell. Plenty of opportunities to extend him and instead decided to be cheap and ended up trading him for a glorified bag of garbage return

I feel like this ownership and Elias would have handled things much differently.

Manny is a personal lesson for me that sometimes people can change. By all accounts he knocked off the bullshit and has become a good leader in SD. That was my biggest adversion to signing him to a long term deal. I was afraid he was not only going to continue to be a headcase but that he might not take his career seriously after signing a big deal
