Collin Morikawa@collin_morikawa·49m

I’m like genuinely curious now, is there science behind why I shouldn’t pour milk first? Can someone go do a study on this? @Cal @UCBerkeley

I feel like if you go milk first the cereal will float on top. There is mixing involved. You aren’t able to fill the bowl. Cereal first, you can pour the milk over the cereal in a clockwise fashion and it will moisten the top layer as it covers the bottom.

I also get furious at myself when I’m at a cookout building my burger only to discover that I built it on the top bun, so if I flip it over the cheese is on the bottom.

Haven't eaten it in about 20 years, but Cap'N Crunch benefits from milk first. Any cereal that gets soggy super fast. Reduces the milk-to-cereal contact. Can really stretch the limits of sanity and only pour a couple spoonfuls of cereal at a time, maximizing crunchiness of each bite.

This is actually a good thing if you simply eat the burger upside-down. The top bun is usually thicker than the bottom one, so it can soak in more of the juice from the burger and condiments that drip out. Tastes better that way than having to lick the drippings off your shirt.

And doesn't anyone eat oatmeal for breakfast anymore?

So it’s been 20 years since you cut the roof of your mouth all up? Cap’n Crunch needs a warning label.

One of the analysts on Golf Channel was talking about the course being super firmed up, and the wind direction going out, anticipating seeing some 400-450 yard drives. For 13 holes he thinks the guys that carry 300-320 yards will see the ball just roll for another hundred yards. Will make the greens harder to stick the landing, but it will be a lot easier if you’re hitting lob wedges into each vs. longer irons. Also means maybe rolling into a bunker you would think you had no chance at reaching.

Regardless, guy thinks that something outrageous like 25 under par is in play.

On the betting side, if this is true, gotta put my money on Rahm. Long driver with great driver control. Has won the Irish Open twice so know links golf pretty well.

Xander is on a heater right now winning in his last two starts, including the Scottish Open last week.

Definitely some roll out on the hard fairways and greens. Rahm hit a 3 wood on 9 that settled in around 360 yards.

John Daly, model of athleticism, finishes round one tied with the likes of Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau, Jon Rahm, Will Zalatoris.

Daly oughta take a driver to Tiger’s head and put him out of his misery.

Poor SportsGuy.

Pretty solid leaderboard after Day 1. Obviously a long way to go.

Honestly thought Tiger would show a little better, make the cut at least. This isn’t a hard course to walk at all, and that seems to be what bothers him. Gimping to the end of a round on the hills at Augusta.

But if you have no short game you aren’t scoring well anywhere.

When streamers do a couple channels of featured groups, John Daly should always be in a featured group. Change my mind.

(It’s really only for this major where he has an exemption)

I am the god damn master at golf jinxes. Had Hovland as one of my few picks before the tournament. This morning hedged with McIlroy.

Eff off Aussie.
